What type of payment methods do you take?
Payments are made online through the booking website. Debit/credit card.
When do I pay for my session?
Sessions: I require a retainer up front to hold your date and the remaining amount will be due one day before the session.
Weddings: I require 50% of the total package amount to book your big day. 25% of the total amount is due 6 months prior and the remaining 25% is due 1 month prior to the wedding. If your wedding is in less than 6 months I will set up a bi weekly payment option.
Photo Booth: I require a 50% retainer to book. The remaining amount is due 30 days before the event.
Why do i need to sign a contract?
A contract is in place to protect both the photographer and the client. It gives clarity and expectations.
Will there be a second shooter or an assistant?
Weddings: There is an option to have a second shooter, if you choose to have two photographers, there will be a second shooter, not an assistant. If you choose one photographer there may or may not be an assistant.
Sports: There will be an assistant, there could be a second shooter but not guaranteed.
Portraits: There will not be a second shooter. There may or may not be an assistant.
Do you take sessions that are not listed on your website?
I will take other sessions such as family, senior, newborn etc. if my schedule is open.

Do I need to order my prints through you?
Although it's not required, I prefer you order your prints through Portraits By Athena to get the best color and quality you deserve.
Do you have a studio?
I no longer have studio space. Newborn sessions and sessions during the winter can be done in home as a lifestyle session, or we can rent space for an extra fee.
